Situated in the heart of St James within the city of Westminster, it offers its members state of the art facilities including gym, spa and restaurants. Dining options range from the formal Supper Club to the more relaxed Cafe Society. Many out of town members value the convenience of the club’s rooms and suites. Nestled within its exclusive walls is also the secret Braille Club.Harrison’s Private Members Club operates two membership systems; one for Harrison’s and one for Braille. This causes a certain frisson of tension, Harrison members intuitively sensing something they’re not privy to, it hangs in the air, mysterious and unseen. The Braille Club itself also operates two membership levels: Elysian Key Holders (E Key Holders) and Key Holders. Caligo Nightclub, also situated within Harrison’s is London’s hottest venue, it’s where Braille Club members go to play.Caligo is the hottest venue in town! The first thing you experience on entering the main lounge is the scent. Imagine an upscale Hollister with the luxury of Ralph Lauren and the sophistication of Tom Ford. The smell is so seductive and inviting you can’t resist going in. Many people stand for a minute breathing in the intoxicating aroma before realising everything in the room is intoxicating.The air, heavy with scent and excitement, caresses the guests as they mingle. Laughter and anticipation make them giddy and carefree. Those in the know, wait—for those who are new an explosive experience lies ahead.Membership is exclusive, and Benedict is meticulous with his choices. Key Holders must each provide a security deposit, and this can be in different forms: money, cars and sometimes contracts. Benedict determines which security deposit will be best for each Key Holder and himself. A legal contract is drawn up, and must be signed and witnessed before being securely stored, and membership granted.Caligo Night Club, located within Harrison’s, had a separate entrance accessed from the street for all members. Braille Club Key Holders entered via Harrison’s main building. E Key Holders entered via Harrison’s private underground car park and slotted their card into the elevator that took them up, and into Harrison’s.Key Holders have access to one zone of their choice. A few select Key Holders have access to all zones; plus ‘Elysian.’ Each of the seven zones represents a unique journey. Every zone has rules. Formats are always evolving, to give members the ultimate sensory experience. Members’ keys vibrate with a fifteen-minute alert before Lockdown. Members who do not use their keys within this time limit will find themselves excludedCaligo Night Club, located within Harrison’s, had a separate entrance accessed from the street for all members. You wouldn’t be aware of it, unless you knew where to look. Members slid their cards into the slit resembling a light switch to open the door. Once inside the second door, a larger, more imposing one awaits. It is ornately decorated, no handles, only a series of raised dots spelling The Braille Club. At the side is a number pad.After the code is entered, you must wait till the door clicks openWhen a member’s booking is confirmed they will receive the door code by text, the code valid for thirty minutes. Members never arrived late and never allowed the code to expire without using it…if they did they would find their card disabled.After the code is entered, you must wait till the door clicks open. You will hear a series of bells ringing as you enter the reception. The interior is cool and elegant with a large glass table. It has a stunning flower arrangement, and the air is heavy with their scent.
